Sounds about right-should be close to 700 rwhp.

Yeah I was gonna guess 14 psi or so....

I had your EXACT combo before only with a 4.38" pulley and I would see 10-11 psi at 6500.... I was at 622hp at that level...

Until it killed #5/7 pistons.

i am definetly going to lower the boost level soon. i will ride around like this and just shift at 5500 where she is making like 650 and call it a day. then i will do the fuel system, new supercharger bracket, and another pulley and have her make 650 and call it a day

A 4.38" will get you around 10 psi @6500 on a stock LS6 with full exhaust and no belt slip.

Blownbluez06 has a 4.38" pulley in stock he'll probably sell you cheap. It was my old pulley. I would see 10-11 psi at 6500-6600 rpms with an A&A bracket. It made 622hp with meth, 10.6 AFR and 13*.... It still lunched two pistons after about 4k miles... (9 track passes and a bunch of hits on the street).

Shifting early doesn't necessarily make it any safer on the motor. You're making more cylinder pressure at 5000 than 6500, even if your boost is continuing to climb

well thanks for the vote of confidence that my car will last a little while. i have another pulley in the garage that i got when i bought the car. i will go see what size it is. car will never go to the track while i own it. if i do play with it on the street it will be some roll racing.

i am screwed all the way around.

wasn't there a guy on here with a z06 with a TTix kit making over 700 and it lasted for over 2 years if memory serves me correctly. i cannot remember his name but when my car made over 700 on first pull i was worried but then remembered his car so i didn't feel so bad about the power it made

we are gonna strap it down to another dyno here in a couple of weeks just to compare numbers.

yep it is his old car. all i did when i got it was added the fuel pump, vavle springs, push rods, and a new tune.

car is only running 9* of timing, 11.5 a/f, meth on all the way, and the fuel pressure is starting out at 60 and falls only a few psi to read line. injectors are around 80% duty cycle

i thought of your car when i made the power it did, hopefully mine will last a long as your did so my engine build fund will be all saved up

some cars on here get away with 700+ on a stock motor

NemesisC5: 99 Coupe 708/640 346ci (Stock bottom) S-Trim/Meth Dyno Sheet

ECS has a stock 2003 ls1 running low 9s must be 800+rwhp! http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-f...-33-145-a.html

with a good safe tune let it eat!

LOL... Sorry bro! .. I didn't mean to **** on your parade. Some last, some don't. Clemson Dave's car was well sorted so I am sure you'll be fine if you leave it exactly how he had it setup....

Sometimes a bad tune is the culprit, sometimes you can still have a good tune and the crappy hyperutectic pistons just come apart... It's all luck really..

Many live at 700-750rwhp, MANY more don't.. It's all a gamble.. Hell forged motors blow from time to time too... No guarantees in this game...

The only thing that I changed was the valve springs, push rods, and the fuel pump.

I know she will nor last for ever, I just hope she will for a year or 2.
