Default What's the difference

My 2001 6 spd convert has a stock clutch, trans and diff, 28k and runs great. But, there is always more, right?
Current mods are Black Wing, ported TB, new delco wires and plugs, LT headers, Corsa X pipe and pace car mufflers. The car has been tuned by a well established tuner.

What I am looking for is some of your experience. In the hands of a competent driver (not me) what would you guesstimate for times at 60 feet, 1/8 mile and quarter mile. Then, I add a A& A Vortech with 6 to 8 pds boost and a fresh tune. What would you expect the difference (improvement) to be at each of the three distances?
Just for fun question
Thanks
Dave

Times: when you first get it, you wont be able to time because u wotn be able to control the car. Focus on shifting from 1st to second, then 3rd.

Forget the times man....you put those mods in that car and your car will show you a dark side that will have you wanting more.

Thats going to be the problem, once you taste the dark side of her, you will always want more.

Oh, back to the times, probably best to look at time slips, but will tell you that 1/8 mil wise looking at somewhere around 100 mph, which is prob 25 mph faster than a stocker.

Get it!!!!!

Default Not going to the track (honest)

My question about adding the supercharger is to get some idea of how she 'feels' when I punch it. The car is really my baby but I like to push the pedal a bit while going through the gears. My tuner tells me that to get more current torque will be tough without engine mods, which I don't want to do. In fact, I drive with traction control on and rarely push to lose traction. Tires are all new Michelin sport run flat.
So am I thinking about an expensive mod that will give me lots of new power but at a rpm range I don't use much?
Thanks
Dave

How she feels when you punch it? When you first get it, it will be weird, like your being pulled by your car. its a strange feeling I had never experienced before, and I have driven m5's v10, c6zo6, e55 amg supercharged which is a torque monster as you know. This has more torque than that car.

Dunno how much torque you want, but this dyno is at the wheels, look at 3k rpm. Making close to 500lb/ft. Believe me, its stump pulling and u will definately need better tires than those run flats unless you want to spin all the time.

I run nitto nt555r been 7k miles and still goood tread left, probably another 7k miles.

Mine is a stock ls6. You dont need an engine change for torque, and if it blows later then make it forged, and you will be able to turn more boost.
