I'm doing my 15" set up now...using weld rear rts.....The only problem I see is the fronts..I borrowed a friends fronts and they stick out...and I heard a spacer is required on some...
I have an 03 c5...I wonder how alumistars fit the front..anyone know if they stick out or need spacers?

I'm using standard 12" rears and c6 Z51 brakes front...The billet specialties wheels look nicer...but I don't think they make 17" fronts like weld does

once you put the car on the ground they will hit. even with the welds if the car is in the air the will not hit the lca but the second the wheel hits the ground it will..

Mine hit also but it looked just fine with the wheel off and no load on the suspension. But with the car on the ground I had a small noise coming from the rear of the car when the suspension would load a certain way mostly when turning in somewhere. Didn't figure it out for a while until I took my wheel off, which the nut that bolts the bottom of the coilover to the lower control arm was hitting just barely on the wheel. The nut was on the side towards the back of the car. Took the bolt out and swapped it the other direction because the head of the bolt is MUCH smaller than the nut itself. No issues ever since.

I went a little nuts on mine, probably removed 1/2" up & 1/2" across the bottom corner, about 3" long.

Did that years ago, never had a problem.

Sounds about right..I guess most guys are doin it on the car.
I was thinking about removing the lowers and doing them in a Bridgeport. ..it's aluminum so should come off pretty easy with my 6" Dewalt sander)

I took my lower control arms and calipers off my car and sent them to LG to have them milled.
