Default Lsa heads

My buddy asked me to post this for all of us.

LSA heads, more pics and info to come. Hopefully get them on a flow bench this weekend and get some valve weights tonight and some better pics of the chamber and throat.

I am considering these heads on my 390 build, but I am going to try a different set of heads first to see how they flow with my setup first. I've had a few conversations with Arun and he has very positive things to say about these heads, they flow well and there less than $1k for a set.

I didn't know they came with springs! Thats cool!

Please post up thoughts on how these perform!

Made in Mexico, thats just awesome, way to go GM, glad they care about American jobs!

What is the deck thickness of these heads. And can you install a smaller intake valve and have good flow to fit a small bore. 3.907

I've heard of people putting smaller valves in ls3 heads and doing good

Thanks

I will be taking them in this weekend to get the chambers CC'd and heads flowed as they come from the factory.

The chamber is 4.070 wide-so it definitely needs a 4.00" or bigger bore-thank goodness it doesn't matter for us FI guys who are forcing the air in.

The stock intake valves are NOT hollow stem on the LSA heads-and there heavy, 120 grams for a 2.16 valve.

I'm going to upgrade to hollow stem intakes and just reuse the stock exhausts.

The springs of course are going to be BTracing duals.

The chamber finish is silky smooth-something Brian spent alot time doing on my TFS 245's.

I'll keep everyone updated with some more pics soon as well.
