I was just wondering how much I need to pulley down when I do my LT headers.
My setup is stock 2001 LS6 with a P1SC on 6lbs. I was going to bump it up to 8 when I do the LTs as well.
Is there an average # drop for this mod?
Thanks,
Matt
Ever motor is a little diff. So put the LG headers on it and put a set of new valve spring and put it down to 10 lbs of boost with a meth set up on her.. Robert
Remember that boost psi is a function of restriction and doesnt nessesarily reflect airflow or cylinder pressure. On other projects I found increasing flow led to more power with less boost PSi.

Good call my friend I went with the XP power headers but the 10lbs and alk control with HP tuner! Great combo. I dd it 70 miles a day and track it on a road coarse on the weekends. Its awesome to me I know there are alot faster cars making big power but for the street its usable.

I know it will make more with less, I just plan on adding a couple #'s on top of where it alerady is. I will likely pulley down a 1/2" and throw the headers and boost a pump on and hope for the best. Lol
