I need to tap into TPS signal and Tach signal to finish this controller install. Where do you guys tap into regarding the Tach and TPS signal?

Hi Rick

find the dark blu wire that goes to the throttlebody

TPS = dark blue wire at pin 24 at the red connector on your PCM

went in on mine at the plug, can also find it down at the pcm just a bit more work finding it.

good luck

Thanks Baezi, what about the tach signal? How did you wire that up?

For the tach signal you want pin #10 on the PCM (white wire). For the TPS signal you want pin #1 on the TAC Modual (dk blue wire). You could also get the TPS signal at the TPS sensor at the T/B, but the TAC Modual is mounted to the PCM so it was easier to get them both there. I attached a few pictures from the service manual to help you out.

We didn't want to tap into other systems and ran a physical switch under the gas pedal. The CTSV ended up running 9.98 @ 141 on its very first run.
