Default Is a timing tuner really needed?

Hey guys I'm throwing my corvette back together and talking to my tuner he recommended that I should get the timing tuner for my nitrous.

Anyway not sure if mods matter but it's a ms4 cam, PRC 227cc heads, 64cc domes, lunetti lifters, Siemens 60lb injectors, arp head studs, fast 90mm intake, gm performace 90mm TB, cold air intake, 255 fuel pump, obx long tubes with catless x pipe and loud mouth exhaust.

Anyway I have a wet kit hooked up on a WOT switch and I plan on running a 75-100 hp nozzle.

Reading post on here it seems like people are running without the tuner. Would it be safe to run without the tuner or would it be a good idea to pick it up?

You only need the tune if you want you engine to last more than a run or 2 . When you use nitrous the timing needs to be retarded when you hit the nitrous button.

that's not true at all.... not even close... 75-100 is so small, unless your tune already pushing your afr's hard and your almost getting knock.. then you could do it without any problem.. I would be more worried about fuel supply then a tune at this point

You guys don't think the 60lb injectors and linginfelter pump is going to be enough?
