Your setup will love that intake after 5000 rpms. Whatever you choose to do, use a cam that will put your power band where you want it.
Chasing 850 to the tires with a P1SC though, you're going to need all the help you can get. I don't think anyone's ever pushed one that high before and I'm not sure it can be done. That's asking a lot of that blower.

My cam is not huge by me or Jmuck's standards but mine is a turbo car so it doesn't need to be. It is quite a bit bigger than your current one though.

By the way Jmuck's car is sick. I luv it. This is why i like forums like this. Someones build will fit ur needs and save people alot of headacks deciding what kind of build and manners the cars going to have. Or a least head u in the right direction.

Yes it is Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT LS1, the hood strenght was a little weaker, so I mounted a small handle at the rear of the hood, and power wise, this is the best intake for the money, Minor below 2500 loss, 10.7hp gain (avg) from 2500-4400, and after 4400 the peak gain was 24rwhp/19rwtq over a mega-ported LS6, this is a N / A engine, it is certainly more effect on a turbo / SC engine

I'm still trying to understand why you want to go to a VicJr on a 347?
A ls6 intake will make power al the way up to 7K.
If you wanted to go past 7k or had bigger cubes I could see the reason why-but on a 347-I just don't get it.

I think the better question is which one has better distribution, a fi type intake (fast, ls6, etc) or a short carb style intake with a low profile elbow.
