Exactly what I was thinking. Does it relive pressure where? It's going to relieve anything psi wise past what spring you have in it or what you have your boost controller set to. And your BOV is going to relieve any excess boost in between shifts. Just Don't know what you're asking

what im asking is will it help flow a little better when it opens. As opposed to be going back in the exhaust down stream.

That depends how restrictive the exhaust system is for your setup.

Is it potentially better ? yes it is.

In reality will it be better ? probably not.

But there really are many variables, and a w/g that dumps to atmosphere can be quite loud. Some like it, some dont.

With my 408 and the smaller 7675 turbonetics turbo on my hinson kit. Every little bit will help. And noise should only be when the wg opens.

Dumping it will make no difference whatsoever to power, unless your main system is terribly restrictive.
It can however help spool sometimes, although again that depends where the discharge normally returned into the main system.

So again there are variables to consider before any solid answer could be given for a specific case.
