My fuel pressure is dropping off starting around 5000 rpm. What is a good option to fix this. I was looking at the boost-a-pump. What does that do, just add more amps to the current pumps when needed? What have others done that work well? D1 procharger and about 500-550 @ the wheels. Thanks

Good option to fix your issue is a boost a pump. IF your fuel pump is good. The boost a pump boosts the voltage to the pump, thus boosting current, and power. The increased power increases the speed of the fuel pump, the increased speed increases the flow of the pump. Usually a hobs switch or a boost reference is used with boost a pumps to activate the increased power only when needed.
I ripped out the stock fuel system and made a custom one but my power level is greater than yours. Like Doug said yes the boost a pump will work. There are several models out there to choose from. Happy boosting
On the C5 do I need the dual pump BAP or does the standard one work? What's the difference or why would the dual BAP be needed, can't you just split the output?
just get a 225 pump and call it a day. If you have a early 03 or down, its take less then a hr to install. BAP will work.. but a 225 is just a little more and you know you have a good pump then.
What you have now in your setup? Stock? If you have aftermarket pump check your Fuel Filter/Pressure Regulator. I had similar issue that was fixed when it was replaced. Guess it just could not handle the flow anymore.
