Default A&A sorting car

Love the car I bought from Mike Baddley. That being said, the tune is the worst I have ever seen on a car. The dyno sheets are from A&A. Just horrible. Car hard starts. Car dies all the time. Car is pig rich. Car throws belts. I am going to tune the car properly on Tuesday as well as fix the belt issue. Not impressed with your work at all.

Who are ya talking to bud? A&A or the guy you bought the car from?

So this car was built at A&A and never had any hands on it afterward?

I just find it non typical that under normal circumstances A&A let a car leave their shop with this many issues.

Anyway, I hope you get it sorted out!

I believe you have problems but I don't believe A&A has anything
to do with your problems. They have a sterling reputation.

UNBELIEVABLE
Maybe you should check into things before making such a statement.

I haven't had my hands on that car in YEARS! The last time we touched that car was 8-1 2008. We swapped out his intercooler.
since then we have sent him a couple of parts that were installed else ware. That was in 2009.
He's had it at another local shop for tuning and all sorts of work since I've seen it.

No. Your right. Just a bit frustrated. I should not point fingers. It is just that the evidence points there. They built the motor. They tuned it. They did all the work. The receipts prove it. One owner car before I got it. It is ok. I will sort it. It is clear that they did the work and it was not very good work. Well, the motor is excellent. The car has had a history of throwing belts. The prior owner installed a flip drive to solve the problem since the A&A kit threw belts. It still throws belts. Tune is the worst I have seen.

No worries on my end bud. I know there's always 2 sides to a story but nonetheless I hope you get it squared away. Get yourself a gates lazer aligning tool and that should help you square away the belt being thrown off. What blower and pulley size are you running? What's the specs on the engine? 6 rib? 8 rib? Is the car speed density or MAF tuned? Where are you located?

Hell of a way you chose to introduce yourself to the community. I would be pissed too, but wouldn't have handled it in such a fashion. I know Andy as a man of integrity. One who cares about his product and customers, what rolls out of his shop. You might hope he's one that either forgets or is forgiving when you end up needing some tech support or parts from him. At least you apologized. I hope it works out for you.

IMO apologies to A&A, ask for this thread to be deleted, and start over with a post about the car.

If you provide us with all the information and the issues you are having we can probably point you in the right direction or help you fix it.

x2. I know you are frustrated but this may be your best bet. We are all here to help.

Andy and the A&A team are top notch to deal with from everything I have seen on here. I'm sure they will answer any questions you may have.

Pretty impressive he kept records of that car from years ago. That alone shows he cares and knows what comes in and out of his shop

Best of luck with the car and keep us posted.

Sounds like you bought someone's problem car. I wouldn't blame anyone but the owner. For all the parts thrown at it he was selling it pretty cheap.

Wow dude that's pretty ****** of you coming in trying to slam these guys. I have yet to see anyone on this board bash these guys for bad work or custmer service. Next time with ANYTHING not just your car contact the vendor/person who worked on it first and see if they will make it right. Not cool...and btw I have never purchased anything from A&A but I see how they conduct themselves here and what others have to say so next time do some research.

I think the OP gets the point.

Now lets all come together in CF fashion and help this guy get his ride squared away.

Hey Shane1974 give us details on your cars specs and if you have the capability (i.e. if you have HP Tuners or EFI Live or similar) post your tune, config file and data log file so we can have a look. It's probably throwing belts because of a belt/pulley alignment issue. Start there.

This guy is going to fix all the issues Tuesday. From what I read he does not need help. Just here to bash.
