He does actually. His car makes more power then yours and runs low 10's on drag radials. Ever think tune up could be your problem and not your tires?? Just sayin..
I'll have to add his car to the long list of cars that are faster and make more power than mine.
I had an A&A P1 on my C5 and an ECS 1500 on my C6. I liked them both.
I like the A&A intercooler and ducting/baffling better but I never had IAT prioblems with my ECS. It's more an aesthetic thing I guess. The ECS C6 intercooler doesn't fill up the grill area.
I definitely like the tensioner/bracket design better on the ECS kit and the ease of belt swap.
IMO the restrictor is ingenious. Install kit, enojoy it, add meth, remove restrictor, pick up ~100 RWHP, done.
i agree with breecher about "not haveing to remove everything to change belts" my a&a kit is a PITA to change a belt". not really that much not witht he flip drive.
I do like A&As intercooler design a little better
I DONT like how you have to lower the stock craddle with them crappy spacers with the a&a kit. I would rather have a whole different craddle like ECS.
Another reason that i went with a&a, is i wanted to run a self contained procharger not a paxton
At the time I bought a setup I researched both companies. ECS didnt really have any info on there site and had to call in to try and get any info. A and A had everything on there site and were very helpful with top customer service since day one. From what I deducted is that ecs seemed to have less belt slip but due to extreme belt tension which can be hard on the other accessories. Both work both are proven, I ended up going w the A and A route and have so far been very happy. Im sure if I went the other Id be just as happy too.
In the near future, I'm going to buy an ECS intercooler and cradle and see what the difference is for myself on my car. I'm not going to change anything but the intercooler.

I like roots blowers myself.
Both are great kits so this shouldn't be a pising match, yes I truly feel our kit is better, but safe to say I'm going to be biased even if the proven results weren't out there.
Zues, just an FYI, we offer our kit with Procharger head units, we finished an install here just the other day. I personally prefer Paxton head units from my experience, but there is no bad choice there as they are both great head units.
As far as belt slip it's simple physics, ours holds better, period. Proven by myself and several of our installers who do both time and time again. That being said, many people are not touching into the area's of boost where it matters either way.
Belt changes do not even compare between the two IMHO.
