I Am Having Surging Problem... Please Help!
I love my NX system, but I am also having some major headaches from it.
Here is what's going on...
I currently run NX Gemini Twin (Dual Nozzle), and I have had great success with the 100 shot. I actually took 1.3 seconds off my ET in the 1/4 with it.
Now The Problem...
I decided to bump it up to 150 shot,
and then the problem started to happen.
What happens is a surging when it's a full speed.
I can watch my rpms rising in a sluggish matter.
My mph is higher in the 1/4 by 3 or 4 miles,
but my ETs are actually slower by .2tenth.
I don't know if it's because I am running rich,
or if something is wrong with the bottle??
Another friend of mine,
has the exact same problem when he runs a big shot.
I called NX with the situation, but they just say that's not right,
it shouldn't be happening.
They asked me to check bottle pressure to make sure it was in the green, and it is, so I still am stumped.
The other thing is it doesn't do it when I run the 100shot,
so I know the system does work.
Also to let you know, I dyno my car with the 150shot,
and it was running rich, but I thought that would be better then lean.
NX did say change my fuel jets from 22 to 20, but that does scare me since it will be leaner.
Is anyone else having similar problems, and if so how did you correct it?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Just a long shot,,,,, clogged lines maybe?
Did you use any teflon tape when it was installed, many people do not recommend using it because of the threat of clogged lines.
Maybe, blow out your lines.....clogged lines have resulted from this in the past from several guys I have heard....you may want to trouble shoot this.
Just a thought.................
I will keep thinking...

and the lines were new & checked before installation.
I wonder if it's because I am running to rich?
Did you get your car tuned at MMS when you went to the bigger shot?
What is your fuel/air ratio on the juice?
Thanks!

A quick check, although maybe not the safest is to remove the filter and make a run.
Does it go rich or anything when it surges?
Yes, MMS did the install and the tuning.
I have it set up for the nitrous.
A/F as well as the timing....and the shift points.
I recomend that you do this.

Which filter are you referring to, fuel, air??
Does it go rich or anything when it surges?
Yes it does... I had it on the dyno, and it said 10:1 Fuel Air ratio,
and it's probably even more since the dyno only goes as low as 10:1.
