Default car shows

I must say after attending a few shows the looks I recieve on my modded c5 are something else. Most c5 drivers keep theirs bone stock with maybe a cold air system, whoa... I really enjoy my 550hp a&a kit along with ccw rims and exhaust , suspension and many others. They just look at you like your a little different ???

Default If you show and GO don't bother

I went to a few show and cruise ins. I can tell you that most of that crowd only cares about what chrome thing they stuck under the hood or what clever decal they put on their sideview mirrors. I still go on occasion but I don't expect much out of it except a chance to take the car for a cruise and hangout with a few people I got to know.

I go with my dad and most of the time if he doesn't go I don't.

You can only listen to so many old men tell you how their CAI and cat back gained them 50hp and they can't keep it on the road now:rofl

It gets sickening, all these vettes with their hoods open and only a cai under there.
I don't even bother hanging out with vette guys at the car shows by me anymore. If I opened the hood they'd probably drop dead on the spot when they saw this

Not really sure why people bring stock or almost stock C5s to a car show. C5s are not that rare, so its not like no one sees them, and if its stock, what is there to look at?

I know the type, and they really don't bother me unless they're bitching about people driving fast or something.

Well, at the Alpharetta, Georgia Caffeine and Octane gathering a couple of Sundays ago, there were at least six Procharged C5s as well as an uncountable number of high roller cars (Lambos, Ferraris, GT3 Porsches et al). Someone with a stock, or near stock C5 would have been embarrassed to show up.
