What's low boost? I ask because like I said, when you get to the point of maxing out the MAF (which isn't much boost in an FI app) then your completely guessing on fueling calculations. Fueling needs aren't always RPM based so botching the PE table isn't a real fix.
Read the links. some of those guys say if your making 5 or 6 psi that's about the max you can go on a MAF. However, saying the MAF will max out at xx psi is only a general statement. There's variables. The only way to know is log. However 5-6 psi is probably a good general number to say hey I can't run a MAF above it. There's not a lot of us who don't run a speed density 2bar or better setup.

Low boost to me is 3-5 lbs of boost. I'm not a racer either. Should I worry about having the maf in play? My car makes around 5 or so lbs. Also provided the aem wideband is accurate as long as the afr is correct at all rpms and loads I have to assume running a maf is ok. Also I compared my aem with a tail pipe sniffer the sniffer saw the same afr as the aem.
Only real way to tell if your pegging the MAF is to data log.
Purely based on experience though I'd say, Get rid of the MAF. You may get some that will tell you it's ok because so and so on the internet did it bla bla bla. but to put it frank, Your probably at the extreme limit.
Like buying a pair of shoes where your toes touch the tip of the shoe.
