Default FPSS location

Hopefully you guys can assist. Question is around the FPSS (Fuel Pressure Safety Switch) location in the nitrous plate system installing on my LS1. Understanding the rationale behind the FPSS, ensuring adequate fuel delivery before spraying, where would you place the FPSS if I am also installing a separate smaller (1 gal) fuel tank to feed the nitrous plate?

Since the smaller tank is separate with its own regulator and pump and I place the FPSS in its line it will not tell me if in fact I have low pressure to the injectors after spraying.

If I place the FPSS at the fuel rail, it will not tell me if I am spraying adequate fuel at the plate.

Do I need to monitor both, or which one is optimal? Trying to build in as much fail safe as possible.

This is a wet plate system jetted for 125HP on a stock bottom end, but with heads, cam (224), and headers and LS6 intake engine. Any advice is welcomed. Also the other safety devices include a RPM window, WOT, timing retard, and Nitrous pressure switches.

They're intended to install on the fuel rail. I had trouble with mine and ended up not using it.

Understood (your problems with the FPSS aside), that assumes the fuel rail is feeding the fuel solenoid for the plate. So in my case the rail is not feeding the plate fuel nozzle the separate fuel tank is. Curious though, what problems were you having with the FPSS?

True, then you'd want to monitor the pressure to the plate. Mine just wouldn't activate, so I tossed it to simplify things.
