Default Need some ideas

I'm looking for a drag radial to get my car into the 1.4 1.5 60 foot range
Car currently runs 10.7@138 with a 2.0 60 foot time ...I'm using a m/t 275/40/17 et street which is pretty much useless .... I really don't want to pull the inner wheel well liners unless I really really have to.....I am running a 8.5 inch wide 17 inch wagon wheel as of now...but wondering if it makes any sense to get some 17*11 c4 zr1 wheels
Any idea on sizes and tire choice to help out
16 inch combination isn't possible due to c6z51 rear brakes.
Anybody have any luck with the M&H 275/50/50 drag radial?
Figure car has in the area of 825 rwhp and a 2800 stall with 3.42's

I am thinking from the description of the car that I saw you run at Icar. If that is you the car sounds great! I have run 1.60s 60fts with those same tires you are using. Just for your information, I have never had a good 60ft at icar and the track prep is garbage. I've heard its better on Saturday nights but haven't been then.
I really doubt the tires are what's holding you back. I now run 325/45/17 M&H and get better 60's, but I don't know if they fit a C5.

Pick up an 11" wide wheel. Lots more options.

That was me...a little disappointed...the car should go mid to high 9's at low 140's ....I know icar was terrible that night...napierville gave me a 1.59 with my old setup and these tires but I now have about 200hp more

Well that proves the tires are capable. Personally, I won't even run at icar anymore. Its just dangerous, and you will never get a good time. All those kids dripping water from the tires at the starting line doesn't make for a good 60ft. Lol

I noticed your car and told my buddy it sounds great. I am working on a track rental at napi. We had to cancel once due to weather but if I get it to happen I can let you know if you like. Arun was even coming down with his car. Shame it got rained out.

No. They are just good friends and we do stuff for each other. I'm sure Arun would have some great input on tire choice.
