Well... Without my trusty Moroso slide rule handy, I'd guess-ta-mate he is around 1050-1100 CRANK HP.. Atleast if it was an NA engine, that would be close... But seeing as how he is probably eating up 200-250hp running the blower at full steam, he is probably really making 1300 crank hp or but you never see it because of the parasitics of the blower.

I don't even guess at rwhp... Autos/converters skew results too much to be accurate. MPH is the true test... Speaking of, why don't you post a pic of your 9.30 slip and ill estimate your hp for you..

Sounds like a pretty good guess.

Not bad for a stock cube 364 LS2 4 bolt block, un-ported 225 Trick Flow heads & belt driven YSI supercharger

The solid roller is whats doing the work. Its controlling the air of the YSI better and making use of the extra RPM the engine is able to spin.

RPM FTW

My car weighed in a 3540 with me in it but I had about 150lbs of weight added to the trunk due to traction issues.

Man your making some JAM that pass would have went 165mph if you had run it a full 1/4 mile in a full weight car

Naw..... 148 is a solid 800-850 at your weight...(3600 ish)..

When you were running 140-142, you were showing about 700 rwhp..

135 mph is around 600 rwhp..

Ofcourse there is a million variables with this...

In reality, all of this "ricer math" going off of rwhp etc etc... Is all BS..

Real good working, efficient cars that can actually put down the power they produce and show the HP on the track, need MUCH less power then most of us here at CF make....

Jay's car actually runs the mph it should for the power it makes... Most others are under performers... (BOTH OF MINE INCLUDED)...

I can show the class pics, slips and data of cars here locally that work....It would blow a lot of minds here I assure you..

I went 149 mph with the 6 spd, in full street trim(thru the air filter, 15* timing and pump gas), dynoed 840rwhp like this about 2 wks before. 3535lbs.. Remember though that is with a horrible front half and letting off the gas 3 times for shifts...

I'm gonna run it in 3 weeks with the auto and see where its at... I'm hoping it goes 150 mph with the auto...All depends on the converter...

Thanks Doug I would love to add race gas and a race tune and pulley down right now I'm running a stock dongle with filter and a 3.33 pulley on the YSI.

I have never had a tuner log it at the track and help me get aggressive like you guys do. that is a dream of mine some day
