Default BAP install question

A&A instructions say to cut off adjustment box/**** so it doesn't get changed accidentaly later, is this what most do? Other instructions say to mount where it is accessable for tunning purposes.

Ok thx.

Another question, I am using a Racetronix harness, it comes w a boost pump enterface connector, but lists sold separately. But do I need another of same connector to attach to this one? I cannot figure out from web site.
http://www.racetronix.biz/mmWEBSTORE/Images/C5A.jpg

I see no connector on the BAP that would go To this, but BAP is used.

Best advice I can give, is to start installing it. It's simple. You will figure it out.

Ok thx. Wonder if I should, if I have to order and hook up a connector, might as well just cut the one out and splice the BAP wires on.

So should I just tap in the two red BAP wires into each side of the connector on harness, and skip getting a connector t plug in? I mean any real reason fr a connector if I don't alread have one? One red from BAP into harness wire that runs to a relay, then out to alternator o ring, other red BAP wire (with fuse) into other half of connector on harness, and this would go to harness connectors that will attach to FP? Thus sound correct?

There is also a separate relay that came w BAP, has a yellow fused line w o ring connector, a thick blue wire, a thin red wire, and a black ground, each attached to separate tab on relay. No idea what this is for, maybe if you don't use a Racetronix harness? Remember BAP was purchased used.

Don't use the relay that came with the BAP if you have the racetronix harness.

ok thx, so now all I need to confirm is the connection of the 2 BAP red wires.

I can't remember but just twist them together and start car with the wire to the hobbs switch disconnected. If the pump is loud then you have the 2 power wires connected right. If the pump isn't loud then switch them around. You don't have to buy the special plugs if you solder them but you might find them at an electronics store.

You can try private messaging the racetronix guy or see if they have the instructions on their website.
