Default Cruise control problem

I noticed CC not working at all today. I have recently installed a new BOV and Alky Control kit which both tap in to the vacuum line, so I figure it has something to do with that, but read in another post that these cars don't use vacuum for CC, is that true? Any ideas? The boost gauge works fine.
Had same issue in my 95 years ago and it was a bad vacuum hose end.
What is best way to check?

Start by checking the plugs in the column and then for power for the on/off switch and then loop closure on the "set" switch in the steering column. Vacuum doesn't take part in the operation of these late model cruise control circuits.

Thanks. I tried looking for switches for brake last night, didn't see them, I guess I need to remove black plastic panel under dash? I see the switch for the clutch, I pushed that one. I will check the #20 fuse on the passnger side too when I get time.

Can you tell me where the plug on the column is, and are the switches easy to see once panel is removed? I need to get a gymnast to do this! lol

Do you have any codes present in the PCM? There are a few that will render the CC inop.

Check and make sure the clutch pedal is all the way up. Sometimes they hang down a little, particularly if you remove the clutch pedal assist spring, and that will prevent the cruise control from working.

Also adjust the switch on the brake pedal ! I had this happen to me .

My brake pedal switch got out of whack and it wouldn't allow the CC to engage.

Ok, finally had time to mess w this again. Fuse is fine, what a ****** place to put a fuse box.
The problem is the switch up high on the clutch. I checked it twice, and it presses against the clutch, but not enough. I drove car and pulled up on clutch, while turning on cc, and the DIC says cc on, but as soon as I let go of pedal, cc goes off. Why this just started IDK. So how should i adjust switch so it is more depressed? Do I need to remove, or can a adjust on car? I can barely get my hand to it.

Got it fixed, had to disconnect wires, then screw the switch in a lot so button is almost fully depressed when clutch is out.
