I absoulutly know that. I don't have time to do this work so the car would go to a shop I'm going to spend lets say $3-4k on a cam and other things to maybe lose the motor, or I just do the right motor build and spend a little bit more that is my thinking. I'm actually going to call Doug and discuss options such as a cam, maybe springs or whatever else he suggests to get me close to my goal while keeping the motor toghether in it's stock form. I know plenty of guys have stock bottom ends for years with no problems but I'm sure there is plenty more that had issues.
If you dont really DOG the crap out of the motor ever time you start it up, it should do you good for some time here. Just talk with Doug tell him how you really going to drive the car he will get you there man. Robert
