Looking for the pipe that goes from filter to supercharger. Just wondering if anyone has built there own 4" Supercharger intake. Looking for tips are what angle pipe I might need to build it.

3.75 to 4" coupling, 2 tbolt clamps, a 4 inch 90 degree bend from the local Diesel truck supply, cut the 90 to the desired angle, weld straight section on, and install air filter. I got a big/huge aFe air filter off Amazon for about 50 bucks I think. Total cost for whole thing is under 100 bucks, and it damn near a straight shot inlet to blower. I cut my cradle and lowered the radiator to clear the inlet, I also cut the radiator hoses and installed straight tubing in them to lengthen them down. Good luck.

I did close to what p1bz did except I didn't need to weld anything. I also bought a 4 inch 90 degree piece of steel pipe, measured it for what I needed in the car, then took it to a fab shop to have it cut. It was purchased from a diesel truck performance shop. Was really simple. $30 for the elbow, $20 for the cutting.

EDIT: I have a YSI blower.

It all depends on what you do with the radiator. What angle you lay it at will dictate your intake needs. I got by with a long 45 degree silicone coupler and some 4" tube.

I see the issue now, you don't have a belt on your setup, You need a belt to make everything work!!

90 deg 4 inch.... I ordered the Dewitts lower radiator for supercharger. I just pressed the middle of the pipe a bit to make everything fit... Picked up a good amount of power.

Yellow. Where did you get the pipe & filter? What bend is on it. I also have a dewitts cut down radiator. I am running a 3rd gen A&A bracket and just bought an ECS intercooler.

I decided to cut the lower bar out, and move it forward about 4.5 to 5 inches forward.

I did this by having a machine shop make the "T" brackets. I went to lowes hardware and got a one inch bar stock, and cut it to length (32 13/16).

Then welded the brackets for the radiator mounts, after trial fitting with vise grips.

Painted it back to black.

Then cut the condenser tabs about an inch- it was trial and error fitting. I also cut the top of the radiator for clearance of the pipe.

Had it all installed with the fans and I was happy for the most part. I ended up having to " trim" the intercooler so I could move the radiator more forward for the extra clearance (the reason for the slotted tabs on the brackets).

I then had to cut the lower radiator hose and installed a pipe that I got from Lowes, cut to length.

Also cut about an inch of the upper radiator hose, no picture. The air conditioner lines needed a little massaging to get them right.
All said and done, I am happy with it. I will redo a upper radiator mount in the future. I think I got the pipe from a place online - maybe cxracing? Used the air filter that came with the A&A kit.

I hope this helps you and others.

Bryan

I went to an exhaust shop and got a piece of 4in 45 degree exhaust pipe and had it cut to size. Picked up the filter from A&A

After getting feedback from a few people. I am looking at getting a 4" pipe with a 45 degree bend, 10" overall length. Let me know what you think.

I bought the pipe online think it was 45'. I reused the ECS filter. Are you using the ECS cradle?

I do not have the ECS cradle. Intercooler just arrived yesterday and have not started the fab process yet. I am hoping to make brackets and weld them on my stock gm cradle. If not I will be calling ECS. Also wondering if anyone has seen gains with running a 4" tube off the intercooler to the throttle body.

Ok guys. Just ordered the parts I need to get this done. I will post details on where I purchased them after I am finished with the project. So far I have $40 in parts. I will get some pictures posted when I am finished.
