That's with e85? Reason I ask is I'm around 700rwhp and my tuner is suggesting going with bigger fuel lines as mine are close to being maxed out. My fuel system consists of: walbro 465 pump, kb 40amp bap, racetronics harness, & 80lb injectors. Car is 03 zo6 its procharged with a blower cam and still rocking the stock bottom end.

There's no exact power number.

It sounds like your around the level of power where most would upgrade though.

If your tuner suggest it and you trust him and the data is there to support what he's recommending then do it.

Fuel rails yes, rest of fuel system lines I'd upgrade. I had 2 6 an line feeding stock rail.

What are your thoughts on adding a meth kit and using 100% meth to take some of the load off of the fuel system.

700+ whp is not going to happen on the stock returnless setup. Listen to your tuner, he knows what he is talking about. You are at the max limit and it would be foolish to push it farther.

I don't like E85 and meth personally, other people would disagree with me but there are no measurable gains to be had. Yes you will take the load off your fuel pump but it's better to just do it right and build a good fuel system.

I'm not trying to gain anymore out of the stock bottom end I'm just trying not to have it on the edge till i can save up for a built bottom end with a bigger fuel system.

Best thing to do from here is add a FPR and boost reference. That will take the load off your injectors but be harder on your fuel pump. Walbro pumps hate high pressure

Ur cooling the whole intake and charge pipe air with meth. E 85 only cools from the injector down. I use both.

So what? Does it make you feel better that your air is cooler going into the combustion chamber?

Let me ask you this: Do you think you figured out something that all the other people running E85 haven't? If running meth with E85 was better, everyone would do it.

It's not needed, it adds expense, complication, another thing to fail, etc.

Stirring the pot: Why spray meth when nitrous will cool 1000x better than meth ever will?

You don't think nitrous will complicate, add expense & things to FAIL Having a SC or turbo heats the air coming in the intake,Why would you not want to cool that air down? DUH!!!!!

The whole point is that Ethanol has similar cooling and combustion suppressing properties as methanol, so injecting methanol in an E85 setup doesn't gain you as much as it does on a gasoline setup.

Not that the meth injection won't help, but its not going to provide big gains like it does on gasoline setups.
