first set i got was date code 3411... making them nearly 3 years old. i called summit and they replaced them without an issue but the new ones are 3913. would you be happy with 6 month old tires? think its a big deal, should i call and tell them i want NEW tires? or will these do?
they are hoosier drag radials 325/50/15
the first set they tried to send me had the white letter that was yellow from age and starting to wear off. this new set the white is bright. the first set was also hard as a rock, new set is nice ans soft

The 2013 will be OK but the 2011 no way I buy them like that when they get pulled off the shelf for ebay 1/2 price. still good if kept inside but you should get new stock buying new from summit!
Im glad you were smart enough to look at the dates
yea when i saw the first set they looked old. the white lettering was yellow and worn off and half the little nipples were gone. they were hard as a rock to.
new set is mint. got them mocked up. hoping they dont rub the fender. i have c6 cradle with c6 arms. im thinking the fact these tires are 27.7" and not a full 28" is whats making them fit. they get close but as you can see in the vid with me standing in the trunk and jumping they still have clearance. im around 220lb's...
Thanks guys, droping it off tomorrow for paint/body work. The fenders are not perfect and need some massaging is some places but nothing a good body shop can't do.
What fenders are those? How was fitment? Were all the holes drilled and ready?
L5, the top 3 holes by the trunk area on the driver side were not drilled. the passenger side needed trimming up by the door/top area.
the body line on the driver side by the trunk and rear bumper was terrible.
make sure you have a good body guy, they will need work. im actually very disappointed in them, i just didn't want to deal with them or just keep getting tossed in circles so i didn't even waste my time contacting them.
instead of buying coilovers and putting my c5 arms back on the rear i may just have my body guy trim the fenders/bumper for more clearance.... may be the easier way out then spending $1000 on coilovers.

Well ****! I was hoping the L5's were better than the other brand (not tpe). Luckily my good friend is also my painter/body guy. Because these fenders I have suck.
yea, i guess it comes down to which style you like the most. for the price these fenders are you would think they would be better... i mean i expected "SOME" work but what was needed is ridiculous... if they had any type of quality control these would of never left the building.
What about in the door jambs where they come to a point? Mine don't even touch the damn door jamb. Plus mine cracked around almost the mounting points....
