Thanks for the tips... Still in early stages of research on this.

Spent most of the weekend laying out the fuel setup with new fuel system I had to buy, ordering more fittings and figuring out how I'm going to route the various fuel and methanol lines. I did get the fuel pump mounted but had to move the KB BAP to make room for it. Thank goodness for rivnut/nutserts!

Used a rubberized mat to isolate the pump from the frame to minimize vibration transfer.

Mounted the pump and testing clearance for the pre-filter. I also have a post-pump filter and check valve that will go in the tunnel where I'm routing the fuel line.

Tight but solidly mounted.

I also got a partial delivery from Dennis at Double D but I'll hold off on pics of that until the rest of the pieces come in.

Wow, seeing that Aeromotive pump next to the BAP really puts its size into perspective...that thing is massive!

Looking good there Ed. You're making some nice progress.

Question: how are you going to activate the BAP? With a vacuum switch or TPS switch set to activate at WOT?

Got a Hobb's switch for that so it will be boost activated. Same with the meth injection.

i have all the fuel fittings and lines in now so I should be able to install the rest of it this weekend, test it and start getting all the drivetrain back together so I can get on to the main part of all this - the SC setup.

That's right, I forgot the Hobbs can be pressure activated as well as vacuum activated. Guess I'm still thinking like a NA guy.

Curious to hear your feedback on the Mantic as far as driveability as well as the solid/poly coupler combo. I know you are very NVH conscious as am I.

May want to test fit the wheel well cover to make sure it clears the pump.

Actually, I did end up moving the pump - there was a slight interference with the wheel well cover, as you mentioned. But I also needed to add the 10 micron inline filter to the system which I had planned to add in the engine bay before the rails but didn't like the clutter it added. So I located it where Aeromotive recommends in their instructions - just after the pump, with the 100 micron filter just before the pump. I still need a -10AN 30 deg. fitting to connect it to the ECS adapter.

I ran supply (-10AN) and return (-6AN) lines and secured them in place.

Hose protectors where they wrap around sharp corners.

The fuel rail setup is almost done - just need to tie the returns down, mount the regulator and hook the lines to it. I've done a lot of configuring and reconfiguring to get everything to fit the way I want it which is why this part is taking so long. I'm trying to minimize the clutter - I've gone to the trouble of relocating the coils and will be cleaning up all the wiring harnesses so the fuel system should be equally neat when I'm done. Also, I'm building a one-off meth setup so I've got some custom fittings I'm having machined this weekend. I'll post pics of that once I have it all hooked up.

Special fitting

Regulator without fuel pressure gauge. I fabbed a custom bracket for this to bolt to the inside of the driver wheel well near the fuel supply lines so the returns can easily hook to it.

Regulator and return lines in today.

Buttoned all the fuel lines up and added the gauge. The fuel setup is totally mocked up now so I can pull the manifold back off to finish the meth setup and paint the manifold. I do need to run the electrical to the back but that's simple since i have the Racetronics P-n-P harness for that.

Machinist brought over my custom fittings at work this morning. I can finally start on the meth setup.
