I uploaded some pics of my NOS install, i think it's hidden pretty well so i'm happy with it.
I had a previous post about detonation only while spraying. I took the advice of the forum members and i installed the NGK TR6 plugs. It did help ALOT! There seems to be another weird thing happening. It only detonates from 3000k to 3500k rpm's. If i spray @ 3k rpm's it'll detonate for a second until it hits 3500 rpms. If i wait to spray at 3500 rpm's i have no detonation at all.
My local corvette specialists told me to put in the 150 fuel jet because maybe i'm not getting enough fuel.

That will certainly help but until you get some O2 readings you are guessing a bit. You want to have 11:1 air/fuel ratios when you are juicing it. If it still detonates, you need better fuel, retarded timing or both.
I just ordered the NX Booster from WCCC. We'll see if that helps a bit but i won't be happy if i have to use that with every tank?
Anyway, my opinions about the NOS. For some reason i thought it was going to be just plain sick. Really it's not to bad at all. If i get enough road speed in first gear and spray, the tires will chirp alot but i'm still getting traction. Second gear chirps alittle but grabs very good as well. If i really step on it and wiggle the steering wheel the back end will kick out which is fun. If i slam into second with alittle wiggle of the steering wheel it'll contiune to spin. All in all i'm happy with it and it sure makes things liven up! :yesnod:
Not to spoil your fun but if you are hearing detonation you are going to hurt something - soon. Ls1 pistons will not take much hard detonatin, I have seen quite a few with broken ring lands and the owner never heard a sound. Puttin a 150 fuel jet in there is a band aid, I have installed quite a few LS1 N2o kits, wet and dry, and if the car is properly tuned they run very safe a/f. May want to double check you have the correct jets in there as well. With your mods you may be running lean, plus if its pinging that hard the computer is pulling a lot of timing - wait and see how if feels when it doesnt detonate :) Get it on a dyno with a wideband and see whats going on there, you may have to use a MAFT to get it straightened out. Also do not hit the nitrous until the thottle is wide open, that may be causing your detonation as well. Edit, didnt notice you had an M6, I'm sure you have a throttle actuated switch..
Here is my dyno, when i'm on the motor my a/f is pretty good but when spraying it's very rich! How can i adjust the a/f to affect the nos but not the motor?

I added the NX booster and it does help.
You are way rich on the nitrous. You want 11:1 a/f ratios when you are juicing. If you are detonating with that much fuel you need to reduce your ignition timing or run race gas. Those are your only options for the detonation problem you are having. I would reduce the timing with a resistor in the IAT line. That will pull 4 degrees of timing. With 4 degrees of timing pulled out you may be able to run pump gas w/o detonating. From your earlier posts it sounds like you would like to run pump gas w/o the hassle of additives. Reducing timing is the only way to do that.
To get your a/f ratios right you will need to install a smaller fuel jet in the NX nozzle. You will need to go back to the dyno to test until you get the right sized fuel jet in there.
