Since my car has the TTi turbo kit I do not like the way the TC handles the power from a dead stop. A 2800 TC was recommended and I am wonders if it drives like stock and what brand everyone is using? I am at 500 rwhp
Thanks for the info
My car has a stock converter on it

A 2800 would be a good place to start. If you plan on locking the converter at WOT you will need to get one with a triple disk clutch. Ls1's seem to do good with vigilante, yank, circle D, PTC. I would call them and see what they recommend.
Call FTI and talk to Justin, he is the one actually building the converters.. He has been doing quite a few converters for C5/C6 Vettes with 4l60s and blowers.. I'm sure he can get you the right converter, and if not, he'll keep trying until they get the one that runs the fastest in your combo.
I used PTC because they are local to me Lane was great to deal with good reviews in my research and great price.
I picked my converter up yesterday from PTC for my twin turbo bulid we shall see.
I have a Vigilante TC apparently made for a turbo car.....thought it was a 2800, but when I changed my set up it went with a 3600 Yank a forum member wanted to buy my Vig but upon checking the serial number with them they said it was built expressly for a turbo car.....if interested pm me for more info...
