Well after the tune and drags clutch slipped between 3rd to 4th at full throttle peak boost with a passenger pulling on a gxr 750 . I am at 600rwhp . I have read alot of threads but cant decide i want some input as many people have tried different clutches and have had more time with newer clutches i dont think single discs are worth it but i am all ears .
Monster clutch all the way. Have had their 3.5, 3.0, and about to run their twin level 2 with custom disks. Awesome guys and the stuff is made in my home state of Texas!
I will wait to hear some more opinions . I dont want to be cheap about it or go overkill . I want a clutch thats gone hold and last , not make a big difference in pedal feel some is expected but not completely different . I can go either single or twin disc but for 600rwhp boosted car i think twin would be better .
i've been reading up for over a year waiting on my stocker to go & am pretty sure i'll try an RXT based on the stuff mentioned above. pretty stock feel, holds a lot, and is rebuildable if i remember right

I've been running Mcleod clutches for over 10 years now. I have the Borg/street twin in my C5, and the RXT in my C6. The street twin is a bit of a heavy foot, and overkill for your 600 RWHP. It's worked great for my 800 RWHP set!!
I've been running the RXT in my 515 RWHP h/c C6, and it really is an awesome setup. It can handle more then your 600, but who know what the future holds...
You can not go wrong with the this clutch, but PLEASE make sure you have a good installer, since that's were things can go south...
The installation I am not worried about I have my own shop and will be doing it myself . I don't see me putting more then 2-5k miles a year due to work and weather and another toy . As far as the future plans who knows.
I'm just about to bolt up the McLeod flywheel with RST. Any last minute tips? Drive train is completely out. Went LS6 slave and a remote bleeder. Didn't replace master. Seemed fine and heard it's easy enough to do later.

Reason: RST. Not RXT.
