Default Drivability issue.

SC Z, this mainly happens when cold, when I first get on road.
Start driving, shift into 2nd, but it doesn't smoothly accelerate, it is like the TB closes, then a second or two later, it hits, and it accelerates, sometimes too hard if I don't take my foot off gas first.

Frustrating because sometimes I need to move quickly if there is traffic coming, and I don't want this to happen if it is wet out, could be bad.
Can this be tuned out? Is it closing the TB because it is not fully warmed up?

Check for codes yet? A couple basic common things to look for. Dirty or oily MAF, and look for a vacuum leak. But I would look for codes if you havent yet. If its something that just started, its not going to be your tune. You know anyone that can data log your trims, AFR, etc.?

No codes, I have checked codes a few times recently for other things. It always does this, until it gets warmed up. It feels like my C4 when the traction control comes on, and closes the TB, and my head lunges forward.

I have to agree - it sounds like the tuning and it should be able to be tuned out on a street tune from your tuner!

You will have to data-log when it is cold, so you might have to leave the Vette with them overnight so he can do the fine tuning when it is cold like you stated!

Keep us posted on what you are going to do and when you do it!

Thanks,Matt

Richen up your OLFA table in the ECT areas where it's occurring.

That is Greek to me, but will pass on to tuner whenever I am there next. Thx

If I can get someone to data log, I can take this info to the tuner, and he should be able to know what to do without actually having to experience the issue, correct? He is not near by, and I don't want to leave the car.

More importantly. Has anything been done to the car that has caused this behaviour ?

ie is the car standard ? has it been fine for weeks, months, years ?

History will be a huge help as to which direction you need to take to "fix" it

I don't think he's able to date log. He doesn't have HPtuners. I think.
