I have a 2002 C5Z with a NON intercooled Maggie MP112 and LG Motorsports longtubes. Right now I'm making 465 rwhp and a friend of mine tells me I could gain 25-35 hp converting to E85.
I know I'd need bigger injectors (right now I have 42lb). Would my stock pump hold up or would I need to upgrade? Or boost-a-pump?
Thanks
Matt
Since your car is 2002, it is very easy to switch to a bigger pump. Furthermore, trying to save some bucks with fuel system is just crazy. I don't mean you would, but as a general comment.

You will need to upgrade and do a boost a pump, or and external on top of your stock pump like an A&A or ECS setup. Which will make you ready for an increase in power later on.
It really makes very little sense when you look at the $$:power yield ratio.
For the money, I would recommend a small shot of nitrous. Those blowers LOVE nitrous. a 50 shot would cool things down nicely and you can expect to yield about 75 whp from it. With only a 50 shot, you can run it quite a bit before you go through a bottle.
E85 complicates matters as you cannot find it at every station. Meth is worse from a maintenance perspective as it adds additional hardware to the car and requires ongoing attention.
I'm sure there are some Maggie gurus around, but you might be able to achieve your goals with a pulley swap or better yet add an IC and a smaller pulley.
