looking for a subercharged z06.need to know what type of upgrades it should have to keep it reliable.type of clutch, trans rear.also what would be a safe boost? how does higher milage cas affect pref.& reliability.what pref.mods.should go along with it.lt.headers,intake,cam etc.any and all help greatly app.thanks mike.
Nothing cheap about superchargers & going fast
But ,u can safely get by with 8lbs & at least put headers on the car ,I'd do a full exhaust ,the z06 has a pretty cool stock cam that will compliment your blower ,problem is 8 lbs is OK until the initial rush has worn off ,then the bug bites & it has sting lol
Nothing is really needed besides a nice safe tune and a well maintained car. supecharger kit with around 7-8 lbs with a good tune and your good to go.
Doing longtubes will help make it more efficient so we will help prolong the motor. The more efficient a motor is the less the motor has to work to the the same power..
You can PM to get in on this hell of a deal on this ECS kit sale i am having right now!!!!!
In 07' ECS installed their Novi 2000, meth kit, Textrilla clutch, AR long tubes. The car see's 6 to 7 psi of boost 581 to the wheels and to this day never a burp. So a good tune is key and good products.

the last 9 words of your statement pretty much says it all.
and don't let them make you think centrifugals are the only good way of making boost. there are also some great roots systems like the TVS series & some good turbo kits as well.
