Something weird happened
I rarely take my car in first gear to redline i pretty much short shift then go wot in second and third ,but i decided a couple days ago to mess around. T-56 trans 6mn 1999 couple and i lost reverse . This was one of the first times i in first gear and redline. Is it possible that the torque that was generated can screw up reverse. My reverse had the uasual pop out and grind but it always went in. Right after i did this i had to turn around and freaking no reverse i had to push my car backward . Anybody ever experience this???????
I guess ultimately what i'm asking is first gear effect reverse in any way???
