Default Estimated powergain from this setup

Hi!

I recently bought a Corvette C5 FRC with A&A Supercharger kit and some other goodies, I ran a 6.7 second 60-120mph time which is ok but I did expect a bit more from the car. The previous owner estimated the power output to 580rwhp on 98 petrol and a bit over 600whp running Ethanol.

Based on the 60-120mph time im thinking 500rwhp at most?
Im new to LS1 engines so what do you think?

No clue on the answer to your question, just wanted to say your car looks awesome. Sounds like a quick setup.

you should be pushing way more then that. Think you need a retune. I would ask the mods to move this into the FI section

Hi Magnus,

Are you on east coast or west coast of Sweden? You probably recognize where I'm coming from...

Anyway, do you have cats on your car? I typically like to measure the backpressure while tuning, if the car still has cats.

Are you asking what we think the power of your car is based off that 60-120 speed and mods etc?

Was this measured with a V box GPS tool? Are you and Manual or auto car?

I tried this once with a V box for fun and my car went 60-120 in about 6.5 secs with about a .7 sec 2-3 shift and .7 sec 3-4 shift. I wasnt powershifting just quick shifting with lightly letting off between the gear changes on street tires. (my setup in sig) I would say you are over 550rwhp

Hi!

I live on the Eastside of Sweden in a town called Gävle 180km north of Stockholm.
The car does not have cats, with cutouts open its straight pipes with no mufflers.

Well not really, its more of a pointer. A friend had a C5 Z06 with the same A&A kit but no other mods and he did the run in 6.1s, his car where benched to 530whp.

Back to my case, I measured it with a Racelogic (GPS) known to be quite good? Its a manual 6 speed gearbox, traction was good.

I will reconsider that retune!
