Help choosing a setup
The only thing I have decided for sure is that it will be an ECS kit with meth.
Possibly going 8 rib with flip/direct drive as I have an UD pulley on now so that would need to be swapped anyway but I'm not sure on that yet.
Current setup is:
Stock bottom LQ4
Out of the box TFS 215s
Ls6 intake with direct port kit
RPM level 5 a4
3.42 rear end
Best time is a 6.6x @ 106 1/8th
Goals with going boost is to run at least the same times as I did on nitrous, but have the car much more fun to drive around on the street.
With that in mind, what blower would you recommend? 1500 or 2200r?
In my head I am thinking 1500 would get into boost sooner and therefore be more fun on the street, but the 2200r would leave me more room to grow in the future... I could be totally off base on that though as my only FI experience is an '03 Cobra so I am for sure in the dark on a centri blower.
Thanks in advance for the help.

While there are some that will tell you you'll build boost/torque sooner on a smaller blower and that may be true for a PD blower, I haven't seen it on a centri. I've seen dynographs where a T trim was pulled and YSi installed same day, same dyno, with comparable impeller speeds and the only difference was where the T trim laid over, the YSi kept climbing. Get the YSi with the billet upgrade and choose the appropriate impeller speed and you'll be happy you did.
If you look at the compressor map for a cast YSi wheel, you're more in its efficiency range turning it slower than max speed, so better to get the YSi and turn it slower over spinning a smaller blower faster too.
BlownBlue- that's the exact reason I asked the question. Good info here.
p1- I'm not trying to be a track rat, I just don't want to slow down when I do hit the track. I want to go boost so I'll have a mid 6 second or faster 1/8 mile car at all times... Not just when the bottle full, up to temp, and the standalone is topped off....
Forgot to add in the op that I have a 3.42 rear as well.
