I just shipped my Cartek unit off to ECS to be upgraded to the cog setup. I also bought the Dallas Performance power steering hose to replace the Cartek hose as it fits better. So, essentially, I bought the brackets from Cartek and had upgraded everything else through other vendors.
So what is wrong with the Cartek version? I recently bought an ECS built car that lists it as having a Cartek flip drive (although ECS is scribed in the supercharger bracket). I'm getting a loud squeal when hot that I'm guessing is a bad bearing on something on the supercharger side of the engine. I'd prefer to fix it once the right way, so I'd like to learn from others rather than making my own mistakes.

Same here. The Cartech hose was made wrong and WOULD NOT go on, so I had to pick one up ($$$) from DP and it went right on. Also received the wrong alt belt. (waiting for Carteck to make everything right)
Now I have a belt "chirp" somewhere. Haven't been able to locate the problem yet.....
