Centri peeps..
Are you using the stock hood and if so, do you use the stock hood liner? I am having two issues.. the liner has worn indents that look bad and.. the liner got ruined when the belt shredded two ribs due to pulley misalignment. Should I just remove the liner altogether?

Ok, thanks. I will leave it for now because I'm going out to Carlisle for the weekend. But I really want to remove it when I get back.

I Had the same problem with a crappy looking liner. I was able to pick one up from the GM parts tent at Carlisle and some new clips. Pulled off old one and installed new one right there at Carlisle and I was good to go. Ran about $110 total.

For me it wasn't a "crappy" liner, it was the liner was making just enough contact with the TB inlet tube it was scuffing the tube...I'm supercharged though...

I just removed it all together...No issues with the hood or paint from heat.

Stock hood and liner, without the weight from the liner the car would pull the wheels on the 2-3 shift and was pretty uncontrollable.

So all this time, all I needed was a damn hood liner and you didn't tell me?

Sometimes fast just ain't the way to go. Ask your girlfriend. She knows what I'm talking about.

What does being "premature" have to do with a hoodliner?
