question about the window switch
I just ordered my NX nitrous system. I have an automatic but ordered the window switch. I wanted to run the nitrous between 3000-6000 rpm. That is why I did not get the WOT switch. I just realized that there will be a problem with this setup. Namely, when decelerating at the end of the run, I will still be in the 3000-6000 rpm range and will be shooting nitrous while I'm trying to stop.
The question is, can I run a WOT switch in conjunction with the window switch so that I'm running nitrous only when in the 3000-6000 rpm range and at WOT? If not, is it safe to use a window switch and then just toggle off the nitrous as I cross the finish line?
I am trying to set up a system that will not give me nitrous at launch. I know I could launch at less than WOT, but it is hard not to get caught up in the excitment of the moment. :)
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Basically, you use this TPS switch to trigger on/off for the window switch. And after that if your rpm is within the range, the window switch will trigger the nitrous.
When you decelerate, the throttle position will read much less than ~97% which will turn off your windows switch. And that will shut down the nitrous.
