Default IAT sensor and MAP sensor for Meth/SD tune

What IAT sensor is everyone using post meth nozzle? I know its suppose to be a fast responding sensor but I only found part numbers for guys with C6's. I am unsure if C5's are suppose to use the same sensor.

What MAP sensor (2 bar) is everyone using? Part number?

Which caspers harness to split MAF from IAT?

http://www.casperselectronics.com/st...oducts_id=1108

or

http://www.casperselectronics.com/st...oducts_id=1137

I did search but most results were for C6s

Thanks

PT778 is the pigtail harness.

I wouldn't bother buying the harness for this. It is 100% reversible back to stock when you're done without difficulty.

Cut the purple and tan wires at least few inches from the plug so that you're able to restore it later if you choose. I personally cut the entire plug off many inches from the end and tape up each wire and then tape them back into the harness, leaving the 2 IAT wires out and attaching them to the pigtail. The wires in the pigtail are the same color because polarity doesn't matter. Pick a wire and splice it into the purple and splice the other into the tan..

Bret,
Is that sensor shown anything special? Or the same as used in a lot of the older OBD1 cars?

Mine looks the same, but I don't remember where I got it.

I've found sometimes the GM Cobalt MAP sensor is used. Thoughts?

Also I see Dsteck once had 2 bar sensors with a wide range for sale

Good Info Bret. I will keep that in mind if I add meth this winter.
