Default Need for a eoc

Presently I run a Novi with all the goodies on my 04'Z. The car doesn't run hot but part of my mod list is a new Dewitt's rad and spal set up. At the point of ordering is it wise and or needed to order a rad with a EOC and do this mod or is it not necessary. At this point the car doesn't see track time but can't say it won't ever.

Chris from ECS advised me when i ordered a cut down Dewitts radiator that it was better to run a separate EOC.

I bought the cut down version& eoc as well & it made life simpler without having to locate extra space for the oil cooler ,just run 2 an 10 lines for supply & return & it runs straight to your drivers side radiator

I see Dewitt's sells the kit, the block and lines. Did you see oil temps go down?

Do you track your car?
I could see if you do probably would get more from a external cooler.

We have found keeping the coolers separate helps keep all the temps down. The difference is very noticeable, especially if you're cooling the trans and engine oil threw the radiator.

I haven't driven the car in a year ,had an incident & driveway Has a dip in it ,caused me to run over my old setup ,so I decided to try the cut down version & eoc with the dewitts stuff & haven't had a chance to put it all back together , been on the road working , but plan on getting it going this thanksgiving weekend
