Anyone do this swap yet? Cost for engine and supercharger is around $11k. This is the 'ctsv- version.

Will not work in a Vette due to the belt setup.

Move the steering rack a couple of inches forward?

No. The steering rack would end up staying where its at. even the pulley system is no problem that can be all configured. the main problem is the height of the motor. The LSA is almost 2" taller, 1.10" to be exact. now because the blower sits up on top of the motor and its so wide and tall, you end up getting into the cowl. you would have to cut out however wide the blower is and whatever depth you would need for it to clear which means you would probably lose one of your wiper blades along with the factory hood.

I'd like to see how you would leave the power steering rack in stock position. The LSA uses 3 belts. AC, main accessory, and blower. Look down in your engine bay and see if you have enough room for a blower pulley in front of the stock balancer without hitting the rack.... There is a reason the c6 zr1 ls9 only uses 2 belts, combining AC into main serpentine and then blower.

OP. Not worth it. If you want a PD blower, just put a C5 kit on and enjoy.

I figured I would need a new hood. I really didn't think about the cowl area. I figured it would sit similar to how a TVS 2300 would. I'll have to mock up a card board engine to see if it fits length/width wise.

I've been getting quotes in the 10-13K range to install/tune a tvs-2300 on my car. I figured starting out with a lower compression engine will save me money in the long run.

MAST has a whipple set-up for around $20K that puts out around 750 chp. Don't know if it will fit the C5 engine compartment as I have not called yet.

AES is local. I will also reach out to them and a couple other race shops to get there thoughts on my goals. Might find out that my best option is just building my LS1 to handle 12-15psi.

Let the journey start.

I was wondering if that would work as I recall seeing the parts listed separately from the engine.
