I need educated opinions on these. I am currently running a Procharger F1C on a built 427 using the original, twin intercoolers. My tuner tells me that the pressure drop with this setup is limiting further power gains, and has recommended the large, single Procharger intercooler ($$$). Treadstone offers a similar unit for around 1/3 the price; should I go this route, or am I missing something?
I would run the treadstone over the dual procharger setup as the pressure drop will be less and more efficient and if you could swing it the single procharger over the treadstone. With that said I run the treadstone 1300hp intercooler on my single turbo setup and it has worked great.
I've got (2) treadstone intercoolers. The 1300 Hp rated unit with a drivers side entrance and top exit. I also have the 1000 hp rated unit that's 28x12.5x4.5 for my current build . If ur interested in the 1300 hp unit , drop me a pm. I like the brand and have used them with success.
Had the treadstone 1300hp unit on my old setup. Worked great, and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. If you want more, then may as well just get a Bell..
