Fuel System Needs for Simple Nitrous Setup

I've got a buddy with a Dynotune kit that asked me if I wanted it. He has the Nitrous Outlet standalone fuel system for it and was saying that pulling fuel off the rail isn't good.
I know I've seen lots of people pull from the rail, but this got me thinking...
What would be the min fuel system upgrades? Or are there any for a simple 75-125 shot???
I've been reading about nitrous for years and just have always found a reason to talk myself out of it...
Also, considering I'd run the LNC to pull timing, and probably a progressive controller of some sort, how much would the tune need to be adjusted to spray it?
I've been thinking about getting a wideband (the ngk afx looks appealing), so I could get the NX controller and use it for all of the "extras" needed, including the AFR safety feature....
Anyways, I'm mainly curious about what all fuel system upgrades are needed for a small-er shot, since the trans will be out in the coming month or two...

Personally I'd upgrade the fuel pump to some like the Walbro from Lingenfelter and throw a hotwire kit on and pull from the rail up to a 150 shot. Keep your tune clean and check your plugs. That way you have room to grow if you want to throw a cam or heads, etc etc. I wouldn't bother with a stand alone until your spraying 200. Just my two cents.
