OK guys, relatively new here. I'm an old school Mussle car guy from a while back, got an 04 Z06 CE with 13K miles. Was already supercharged when I got it, A&A with a 3.8" pulley and a Corsa full exhaust, long tube headers. The only things that I know for sure that was done to it. The guy I got it from said it came off the dyno at 575hp to the rear wheels with a conservative tune. It runs really good but looking to get up around 650hp or so to the rear wheels. Would like some advice on what would be the best bang for the buck to boost the HP. Thanks in advance for the help and friendly advice.

meth kit is around $600... alkycontrol is probably the best one around, there are a few others around for a little cheaper but not many people seem to run them... how much boost are you seeing to make 575?... with a cam, meth, longtubes, and 10psi that should get you where you want to be maybe slightly more... also make sure the rest of your fuel system is up to the task

I've seen up to 10lbs of boost, no fluctuations in fuel pressure that I've noticed. The numbers I gave are based on what I was told by the previous owner, you know how that can be tho. The car only has 13K miles, seems to have not been mistreated in any way. It's damn fast now, had to put 305/35/18s on it just to get it to hook up at all. Love it, but you know how it is.....can never have too much HP, especially when my son has almost the identical setup in an 03 50th Anniversary Edition. Both awesome cars but can't let the son outrun me. LOL!!!

I hear ya, it never seems to be enough but the line has to be drawn somewhere lol... if you add a cam you might lose a pound or 2 of boost which can be made up with a smaller pulley... do you have any idea on what the fuel setup is?... I had a 255 in tank pump, hotwire harness, kenne bell boost a pump, 60lb injectors, dual nozzle meth kit, and 12psi... the tune was meth reliant and injector duty cycle was 71% at redline and held solid fuel pressure so that setup worked for me

So, how much affect would just the meth system have? How about a bored out throttle body, would that help any?
alkycontrol And its not to hard to install use you windshield washer tank to hold the meth just call alkycontrol also come with instructions
What do you guys think, I realize there is no exact number, but how much boost can the stock LS6 engine stand without going overboard and risking tearing it up. I know just running it hard puts it at risk but I just don't want to get stupid with it.

For me 650-700 rwhp. 12 psi But there are dudes in here running 900 rwhp!! on a stock motor!! But they have the right tuner

There's a guy on here running 9.18 on a stock engine (bottom end and heads).
Drop the pulley size a little to pick up 2 psi, add a meth kit (snow or alky), retune and you should easily hit goal.
I've got every bolt on (heads, cam, intake, exhaust, TB, rocker arms, coils, etc. etc. etc.) and the biggest bang for the buck was the supercharger...that's "cheap" and easy horsepower. Want more power....just pulley down and add more fuel.
