I have a '98 A4 and was going to get my car cammed. Well I decided that going with Nitrous might be the better way to go. I have already searched past threads and still have questions. I understand that you get better power out of a wet kit and I think some say it's safer, but then some say that you could get "puddling" which is also dangerous. My questions are:
1.) Would you recommend a wet or dry system
2.) Which kit would you recommend (NX, TNT, NOS)
I want something that is going to be reliable and safe at the same time (who doesn't right?) I've looked at the different kits but this is all a different language for me. So I need yall to suggest which kit you think would be the best overall package to get. All this talk about window switches and purge kits got me confused. So if you could please suggest a good kit I would appreciate it.
Also what could I expect to spend on a Nitrous kit including install? Thanks for your help.
Re: OK, changed my mind, need your help! (los7883)
I would go with a NOS 100 dry shot for starters. Use a RPM window switch and a fuel pressure safety switch and you can sleep like a baby knowing your car is safe. Expect to pay probably 1600-1800 for a complete professionally turn key job with all the bells and whistles.
