I have a total of $3500 in a TR6060 and C6Z diff swap after selling the stock parts. The swap was done with stock C6Z parts, not built parts. My stock C5 T56 and diff never broke at 750rwhp and 30,000 miles, so I'm hoping the C6Z stuff lasts for a good while at 1000whp. My car isn't quite finished, but I expect it to be DD reliable at the 1000hp level.

There seems to be a bit of negativity in this thread.
OP, here's the deal. As you know, adding HP is not cheap. Adding reliability is not cheap.
That said, it doesn't have to be as expensive as some here might suggest.
Don't skimp on your fuel system and get top quality injectors.
Stock crank. Forged rods and pistons.
Keep your heads and cam.
You'll want a good clutch. The McLeod RXT is a good clutch.
If you don't plan on hitting the drag strip, keep your stock trans and diff, for now.
Good luck with your project.
A YSi kit or an F1X kit can be bought on here used.
