1 3/4 to 1 7/8 ( Nitrous)
So, to expel the myth that you lose power stepping up from LG Super Pro 1 3/4 to American Racing 1 7/8. In my experience I went from 688/718 to 718/732.. I did actually lose some NA... But, it was 90+ degrees here in TX when my car was dyno'd... I also have not installed my DMH elect Cut outs from my previous X pipe... So, there is actually MORE to gain once I get those in and the weather cools off... My car has always been torquey... Oh, and before the some of the ney sayers chime in about the expense of the AR headers, I have about $250 in them... Had a good friend demodding his C5 and sold my LG's.... Money well spent if you ask me....

No, other than re-tune.... currently running a 170ish jet....
although my engine is built and my builder tells me all the time that I could prolly run a 250 shot w no adverse effects, I am a little conservative... The power is plenty for me and what I do with the car which is the 1/2 mi events.

You wasted your money. Both your torque and horsepower fall to nearly nothing after about 7100 rpm's. That's why 1 7/8" AR headers are no good.
JK. Very nice numbers indeed.

Plus the labor, re tune, dyno time of course... Still have < than $800 in everything....
My buddy told me he should have charged me more for the headers... My LG's were < 1 year old and I really liked them.. I have nothing bad to say about them. At my last 1/2 mi event several guys asked me what size headers I was running.. told them the 1 3/4 and they advised me to step up... glad I did!

didn't mean to hijack your thread... I have lg superpros now and probably would have got the 1 7/8" if they were offered at the time, I could probably benefit from them now... I need to see how much an x and midpipe will run me first... do you have a dyno comparison to show the n/a loss?

I really don't think I lost any NA power.. I actually added a some. It is kind of hard to compare because my cut outs were open when the shop dyno'd the car before install... I was at 550/530.... that was done when it was 78 deg outside... My NA power yesterday NO CUT OUTS, and 90+ deg was 537/500.... So not really a fare comparison. I will add cutouts to the 1 7/8 in Sept once it cools off...
688/718 to 718/732 is pretty significant....( nitrous pull)
$600 + shipping is a smoking deal brother.... I am betting you can buy a new X pipe from AR for $500 or less... then sell your LG's and recoupe some capital.... It's a no brainer for us bigger cube guys... and especially you with your FI set up....
I'm not worried about you hijaking thread.... Jump on in....
Would love to see that car sometime!! My office is in Plano...
