NX MAXIMIZER
I run a NOS progressive Controller on my 95 auto. And it works great, and lets the car run 11's on Goodyear GSC's. I have a friend who wants to put a nx kit on his 96 LT4 and i don't feel the NOS controller will help him as much since it will restart every time you lift off the throttle. I can't seem to find much info about the Nx Maximizer. Will it work better for stick shift cars? Does it have a way of telling which gear your in. Ideally, with a 125 shot max, letting about an extra 25 come on in first, then working up to 125 by the top of second would be good. Does anyone run the maximizer with a 6-speed, and if so how does it work for you.

I believe the NX piece as are most of the progressive controllers I have seen are just by RPM, not by gear.

Yes you can increment start percentage for each gear. It assumes you start out in first(which you will in a drag race), and then it knows when you come off the throttle and the start percentage is bumped up for the next gear. Too long of a discussion here but there should be more info on NX's website.
