Default Remove Alky pump but not bracket

Is there a way to remove the Alky pump only, and not the 4 self tapping screws? I asked Julio but haven't received a response yet.

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the mount as it's attached to the pump from the back side. The pump would rattle around a lot if you left the screws loose that are holding it to the mount.

I could be wrong....It was last winter when I took mine loose.

Funny, I just did this to send mine back for rebuild. I think you need to remove all 4 mounting screws that hold the bracket to the frame. The bolts holding the pump to the bracket are small and in the back center of the plate. I don't think you can get to them without removing the bracket from the frame.

As I usually do (if it's possible), I tossed the self-tapping screws on my Alky pump and used nutserts to mount it. A PITA, admittedly, but I trust and prefer them over self-tapping hw - makes r&r less frustrating.

I had the same thought when I saw the self tapping screws
