Thanks guys. Yea, the Ysi was ok. It was the damn eldebrock water pump. Went back to a stocker and all is good,

Congrats, good to see it running again. How did you track it down to the water pump and can you describe the sound it was making?
What kind of power should it make with this pulley combo?

we put my old blower back on and the sound was still there. we inspected everything and found it. it made 850 unlocked with the old setup so who knows. more cubes/compression/head/blower this time around. all i really want is an 8.99999 up here at my elevation. bret is dialing in the tune so we have a little work to do. here is a vid of the sound;
