Laser Pulley allignment tool
Does anyone have a serpentine belt alignment tool that they would be willing to "rent" out, with a deposit of course?
I am having some alignment issues since mine started to eat the front of the belt yesterday. I would buy one, but its a one time use...
Figured I would check here before buying.

it's worth the $100 to have one if you work on your own car... anytime you change pulleys, upgrade to 8/10 rib, secondary drive, balancer, etc, you will find yourself needing it again

I'm with Brett if someone wants to come to my place and use it, I'd help them out. But I've let ppl borrow my pin kits and a few other things, but something's I'm not willing to let leave the shop and this is one of those tools for me. Not so pricey, just one of those tools I think someone could mess up pretty easy and don't want o hassle with all that to be a nice guy etc... Although I am lol!

I have used the gates and dayco tools. The dayco is 100x better so I bought one. It comes with a few other cool belt gauges but the best thing IMO is the parallel line beam and second pulley gauge tool.

I would seriously consider the dayco vs the gates. The quality and accuracy is much better. You need to have an ASTM spec to get the gates dialed in (see blownblue's) sticky up top.
